Actress Ella Balinska is showcasing her scream queen credentials once again in a horror title fans of the genre will not want to miss. Run Sweetheart Run looks to be equal parts haunting and thrilling, making it an ideal selection for movie night, but is it on Netflix?
The Resident Evil star leads the way in the Shana Feste-directed feature, playing a single mom named Cherie who works a lot and whose first foray into the dating game does not go as expected. What starts as a promising night quickly turns deadly as her charming date, Ethan, becomes a sinister predator hunting Cherie like an animal with her very life on the line.
Playing the maniacal monster of the story is Game of Thrones actor Pilou Asbæk. Also in the cast is a stellar lineup of actors, including Clark Gregg, Dayo Okeniyi, Betsy Brandt, and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
Jason Blum from Blumhouse Productions produces. Blumhouse is known for making movies like Halloween Ends, adding to the many reasons to check it out. Run Seethwert Run premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and fans should know that the movie has a runtime of 97 minutes.
Before members start running toward their TVs or devices to stream the terrifying affair from start to finish, they should know whether or not it’s an option on the platform. Unfortunately, Run Sweetheart Run is not one of the many exceptional titles on Netflix.
Luckily for subscribers, there are many horrifying choices to stream right now. Some eerie examples include Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, Blood Red Sky, Army of the Dead, and Bird Box.
