Lucky Hank starring Bob Odenkirk premieres on March 19, and everyone’s wondering where they’ll be able to watch it. As always, that’s no problem for us. Read on to find out where you can watch the new comedy-drama series.
Lucky Hank is a television show developed by Paul Lieberstein and Aaron Zelman. Like many other TV shows these days, Lucky Hank is based on another piece of work. It’s adapted from the 1997 book Straight Man by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Russo.
The show follows William Henry “Hank” Devereaux, Jr., a bitter English department chairman at an underfunded college who finds himself going through a mid-life crisis. Meanwhile, his wife Lily, a vice principal at the local high school, is going through her own problems while questioning her life choices and the path she’s on.
Bob Odenkirk portrays the protagonist, Hank, while Mireille Enos plays the role of Lily. Sara Amini, Diedrich Bader, Suzanne Cryer, Olivia Scott Welch, Cedric Yarbrough, and others are also in the cast.
Sadly, the comedy-drama will not be available to stream on Netflix. However, Netflix has tons of similar content streaming right now on its platform for you to check out. We recommend checking out The Chair, After Life and Living With Yourself. If none of these titles pique your interest, there are many more comedy dramas to choose from.
Lucky Hank is set to air its first episode on AMC at 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT on March 19. If you live on the West Coast of the United States, the first episode should begin airing at 6:00 p.m. PT on March 19. You also have the option to stream the first episode on AMC’s streaming service, AMC+.
